Q&A
A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot. Dress in layers because it can get chilly in San Francisco, especially near the water. Also, don't forget your appetite! The food stops are delicious but you’ll want to be comfortable.
A: Yes, this tour can be enjoyable for kids! Just keep in mind the food options—they might not be fans of all the dim sum varieties. There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say kids 8 and up would have a better experience. Plus, they’ll enjoy tasting the cookies!
A: The tour operator is pretty flexible about rescheduling due to weather. Just reach out to them as soon as possible, and they’ll help you find a new date. It’s always good to check the forecast before the tour!

Just did the Private Walking Culinary Tour in Chinatown! 🍜
I recently took the Private Walking Culinary Tour in San Francisco, and wow, it was amazing! Starting at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory was such a fun experience. Watching them make cookies and then getting to sample them was a highlight. The dim sum at Delicious DimSum was delicious too! My favorites were the shrimp dumplings. I’d definitely recommend this tour for anyone who loves food and wants to explore Chinatown.
Thinking about gifting the Chinatown Tour!
I’m considering giving the Private Walking Culinary Tour as a gift for my foodie friend’s birthday. She loves trying new cuisines and is super into Asian food. Does anyone know if there’s a vegetarian option for the dim sum? I want to make sure she can enjoy it!
