Our self-guided tour will give you more than enough time to park your E-bike, tour the Maritime Museum and check out all of the ships. You'll get the chance to navigate through the unique Horton Plaza Mall, and the Gaslamp Quarter to see all the sights of Downtown. From there, you can peruse Balboa Park on foot and really take in the sights and sounds. You can even go to one of the many other museums and stop to smell the roses in the Rose Garden with over 800 different varieties. Your adventure awaits!

Q: Is there an age limit for using the electric bikes? I'm looking to get this for my teenage niece.

A: Great question! Generally, the rental company allows riders 16 years and older to use the E-bikes. If your niece is younger than that, she can ride as a passenger on a bike with an adult. Make sure she has a valid ID or parent approval if she's under 18.

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day of our reservation? Can we reschedule?

A: You can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating! Just reach out to GoCar Tours at least 24 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find another time that works. San Diego weather is usually nice, but better safe than sorry!

Q: How do the electric bikes handle on hills? Are they easy enough for an older family member?

A: The E-bikes are really user-friendly! They have pedal-assist features, so even if you're going up hills, it feels like a breeze. I took my mom, who's in her 60s, and she loved it! Just remind her to take her time and enjoy the views.
