Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather isn't great on the day of the flight?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't suitable for flying. Maverick Helicopters will help you find another date that works for you. Just make sure to call them as soon as you know the weather's going to be bad. They’re usually pretty flexible about it!

Q: What should you wear for the helicopter flight?

A: Dress in layers! It can get cooler as you gain altitude. I'd suggest wearing comfortable shoes, too, since you'll be climbing in and out of the helicopter. Also, don’t forget sunglasses – the sun can be super bright up there!

Q: Is this helicopter experience good for kids? What's the age limit?

A: Yes, kids can join! There isn’t a strict age limit, but children under 2 can sit on an adult's lap. Just keep in mind that they should be able to wear the headphones and enjoy the ride. It’s a fantastic experience for families!

Just did the helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon — WOW!

I took the 45-minute helicopter flight with Maverick Helicopters from Tusayan last week, and it was mind-blowing! The views of the Painted Desert and Marble Canyon were stunning. Getting to see Point Imperial from above was a highlight. The staff was super friendly too. If you’re thinking about gifting this, just do it! It’s worth every penny.

Looking for tips before my Grand Canyon helicopter ride!

I'm planning to buy this helicopter experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. Has anyone done it? What’s the best time of day to go? Also, any tips on parking at the airport? I want everything to be perfect!
