Q&A
A: Yes, kids can ride along as long as the total weight doesn't exceed 350 lbs. Just make sure they’re wearing a life jacket at all times! Also, it's a blast for kids, just keep in mind that they need to be at least 5 years old to ride. So if your kiddos are big enough, they should have a great time!
A: If the weather isn’t safe for the jet ski rentals, they will definitely let you reschedule. Just keep an eye on the forecast and call them if you're unsure. They’re super helpful and want everyone to have a good time. I recommend checking in the day before to confirm!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit since you'll get wet! I'd also suggest some water shoes because the docks can be slippery. Sunscreen is a must, too—you're out in the sun for 45 minutes! And maybe a quick-dry shirt if you’re out there for a while. You want to be comfy while you’re zooming around!

Just did the jetski rental on South Padre Island - so much fun!
I surprised my partner with the 45-minute jetski rental last weekend and wow, what a blast! The water was perfect, and cruising around Laguna Madre was such a thrill. The staff at SPI Excursions were super chill and gave us a quick but helpful safety briefing. Plus, they provided life jackets which was nice. I’d say it’s great for anyone looking for an adventure; we saw dolphins too! Highly recommend it if you’re in the area!
Thinking of gifting jetski rentals for my brother's birthday!
My brother loves water sports, and I think this jetski rental would be the perfect gift for him! I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m a bit nervous about how it all works. I'm hoping it’s not too difficult for a beginner? Anyway, has anyone gotten this as a gift? What did the person think?
