5-Day Tour of Superior, Huron and Michigan from Chicago

Five days to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the three major lakes in the Great Lakes region of the United States, all of which are located in Lake Michigan in the United States, Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world, and Lake Huron. Famous cities along the five great lakes: Chicago, Milwaukee and Traverse City along Lake Michigan, Green Bay along Green Bay, and Sault Ste. Mackinac Island, which was once selected as one of the top ten most beautiful islands in the world. Room Details All hotel rooms are based on two Full / Double beds or one King/Queen bed depends on what rooms are availiable at the hotel on the day. The maximum occupancy per room is four travelers. One Room Selection If you are a party of more than four guests or desire to have separate rooms, please create separate bookings. Avoid traveling in a different bus? Q: Are there age limits for kids on this tour?

A: There aren't strict age limits for kids, but I’d recommend it for ages 10 and up. The tour includes quite a bit of walking and some museums, so younger kids might find it tiring. Plus, the Mackinac Island Ferry can be a bit of a ride, too. Just keep in mind that they need to be able to enjoy the activities!

Q: What's the weather usually like in early June? Should I pack heavy jackets?

A: June can be quite mild, but it’s best to prepare for some variability. Evenings can get chilly, especially by the lakes. I’d suggest layers – a light jacket or sweater should be fine, but pack a raincoat just in case! You never know when a storm might roll in.

Q: How does the hotel arrangement work? Can I choose my roommates?

A: You can indicate your preferences when booking, but ultimately it depends on what rooms are available. If you're traveling with friends, just coordinate your bookings and let them know the confirmation numbers for the same room. If your party is more than four, you'd have to book separate rooms.

Just finished the 5-day tour, and wow, it was an experience! The Pictured Rocks were stunning, and the Harley Davidson Museum was super cool if you're into bikes. The bus was comfortable, and our driver was really knowledgeable. Anyone else been? What was your favorite part?
