Heads up: This is a self-guided adventure. We give you the route, the gear, the insider tips, and everything you need to explore confidently on your own. No guide in the passenger seat — just you, the open desert, and the freedom to move at your own pace. This is your chance to actually experience Nevada, not just drive past it. You’ll navigate epic desert terrain packed with wild history — abandoned mines, insane panoramic viewpoints, Hollywood tragedies, ancient petroglyphs, and rugged backcountry that feels straight out of a movie. Keep your eyes peeled for desert bighorn sheep, tortoises, and wild burros roaming around like they run the place. And yes… if you’re a fan of Fallout: New Vegas, you’re in for a treat. We’re talking real-life Mojave exploration near Goodsprings — the town that inspired it all. No promises on spotting Deathclaws… but the terrain definitely feels like you could. This isn’t a tour. It’s your own desert campaign.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for participants on this off-road adventure?

A: There's no strict age limit, but you need to be at least 21 to drive the Jeep. Passengers can be younger, though. Just make sure they can handle the bumpy ride and stay safe. It's a fun experience for families as long as the kids can buckle up and enjoy the views!

Q: Can I reschedule if we can't make it on our booked day?

A: Yes! You can reschedule your adventure with at least 48 hours' notice. Just reach out to the provider, and they’ll help you find a new date that works. It’s super flexible, which is great if you’re worried about weather or travel plans.

Q: What should I wear for the desert off-road experience?

A: Definitely wear lightweight clothing that's breathable since it gets hot out there. A hat and sunglasses are a must! Sturdy shoes are also key because some areas might require a bit of walking or climbing. Don’t forget sunscreen — the desert sun can be brutal!

Thinking about booking the Mojave Jeep Adventure as a gift!

I’m looking to buy this 5-hour off-road Jeep experience in the Mojave Desert for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves off-roading and is a huge Fallout fan, so I think this is perfect! Just curious about the driving — is it hard to navigate the route they give you? Any tips for first-timers?

Just did the Mojave Adventure, and wow!

I can’t recommend this experience enough! The Jeep was easy to drive, and the views were breathtaking. We found some cool petroglyphs and even saw some wild burros! Bring extra water, though, especially if you’re planning to explore off the beaten path. You won’t regret it!
