Q&A
A: Yes, absolutely! The team at Manatee Swim Center is really flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just give them a call, and they’ll work with you to find a new date that fits. Keep an eye on the forecast before your trip, but it’s nice to know they prioritize safety!
A: Definitely wear your swimsuit! A rash guard is a good idea if you're sensitive to the sun. Flip-flops or water shoes are a must too. Bring sunscreen and a hat for sun protection. They provide towels and water, so you just need to pack your snacks if you want something extra!
A: Yes! This scalloping charter is great for families. Kids as young as 6 can join in, but make sure they are comfortable in the water. The guides are fun and really good with kids, making it a fun day for everyone. Just check with the provider for specific age requirements before booking.

Considering the Scalloping Charter – Any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about booking the 5 Hour Scalloping Charter in Crystal River for my husband and a couple of friends. Has anyone done this? What’s the vibe like on the boat? I’m really curious about how the in-water guide works and if the ceviche is as good as it sounds!
Just got back from the scalloping trip – Amazing!
Wow, I just got back from the scalloping trip and it was a blast! The crew was awesome, and the scalloping was so much fun. We even got to swim in the springs afterward. The ceviche they made from our catch was out of this world! Definitely recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves seafood or the outdoors.
