Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but the tour is recommended for kids ages 7 and up since some activities, like the dog sledding and snowshoeing, require a bit of stamina. Just make sure your kids are comfortable in cold weather! It's a fun way for families to bond and explore Yellowstone together!
A: Definitely dress in layers! A good base layer, insulated jacket, waterproof pants, and sturdy snow boots are a must. Don’t forget gloves and a warm hat. You want to stay warm but also be able to move comfortably during the snowshoeing. The guides will usually suggest the best attire too!
A: Winter is a great time for wildlife watching, but keep in mind that bears are usually in hibernation. You'll definitely spot bison, elk, and possibly wolves, especially since there’s a wolf tracking adventure included! Just be prepared for some amazing photo ops with those gorgeous snowy backdrops.
