Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit for kids, but they do recommend that children under 5 may not appreciate all the sights, especially the boat ride at Niagara Falls. It’s suitable for families, though! Just keep in mind you'll be on the bus for long stretches, so bring some snacks and entertainment for the little ones.

Q: What should we wear, especially for the Maid of the Mist?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable and bring a waterproof jacket or poncho for the Maid of the Mist! You will get wet, trust me. Also, good walking shoes are a must for all the exploring, especially in Watkins Glen which can be slippery.

Q: What’s the best time of year to go on this tour?

A: The best time is definitely spring through fall, especially for the boat ride at Niagara Falls which runs April to October. Fall colors in Finger Lakes are breathtaking! But keep in mind winter tours include Journey Behind the Falls which still offers a unique experience.

Just got back from the Perfect East and New York tour—amazing!

I just finished the 6-day tour and OMG, it was fantastic! The Thousand Islands cruise was stunning, and the Maid of the Mist ride at Niagara Falls? You really feel the power of the water up close. I loved exploring Watkins Glen too; the gorges are breathtaking! I’d recommend this for anyone who wants a mix of nature and city life. Just be prepared for some bus time!

Considering giving the Perfect East and New York tour as a gift—thoughts?

I'm thinking about this tour for my parents' anniversary. They love traveling and haven't been to any of these places. But I’m a bit worried about how they’ll handle the bus rides and walking. Do you think it’s manageable for them? Any tips?
