A local, permitted guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous fjord Somes Sound, the Asticou Gardens and go to an authentic lobster pound (where lobstermen bring their daily catch) for lunch! We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain. From Cadillac summit you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands. See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including summit of Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. We will continue on to see the summer colonies of the rich and famous. Drive along the fjord, Somes Sound. Finish in Southwest Harbor to have lunch at an authentic lobster pound while looking over Great Harbor Marina. We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I'm thinking about gifting it to my kids ages 10 and 12.

A: There’s no specific age limit for this tour, and kids are definitely welcome! Just keep in mind that some of the hikes might be challenging for younger kids, but the guide can help tailor stops based on their abilities. It’s a great way for them to experience the park’s beauty!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather's bad? I really want good views from Cadillac Mountain!

A: Yes! The tours are flexible with rescheduling for weather conditions. If the forecast looks bad, just contact them ahead of time, and they’ll work with you to find a better day. Good views from Cadillac are worth it!

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it mostly walking or just driving?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be doing some walking at the various stops! Dress in layers too; it can be chilly at Cadillac Mountain even in summer. Bring a light jacket just in case!

I just got back from the Premiere & Private Acadia National Park tour with At Your Service Tours, and wow, what a day! We saw Cadillac Mountain, and the views were stunning. The lobster pound lunch was so good—fresh lobster right off the boat! Great tour for families or anyone wanting to see the park with a local guide. Highly recommend it!
