Come enjoy our brand new pontoon boats. Take in all the gorgeous sights as we offer one of the largest riding areas on the island. Enjoy a short idle time through the beautiful waters of Skull Creek, while keeping an eye out for our famous Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. From there on, it is smooth sailing, as we allow you to travel to the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean, behind Daufuskie Island, through the Cooper River, or up the May River to check out the sand bar and Palmetto Bluff. You will receive a professional orientation on navigating Hilton Head Island’s waterways, and don’t be afraid to ask for some superb lunch recommendations on the water. Pontoon boats have a capacity of 10 people, and the captain must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and prior boating experience. Bring your friends and family along for an awesome day on the water!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the captain of the pontoon boat?

A: Yes, the captain must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. If you're planning on gifting this to someone who’s not 18 yet, make sure to find someone who meets the requirements to drive the boat. It's really important to check that beforehand so everyone's day on the water goes smoothly!

Q: What do you recommend wearing for a day on the pontoon?

A: Definitely wear swimwear and a cover-up since you might want to jump in the water! Also, bring a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. The weather can change fast, so a light jacket is a good idea too, especially later in the day. Don't forget sunscreen!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: Yes! If the weather looks bad on the day of your rental, you can usually reschedule for another day. Just make sure to call the rental company in advance to confirm. They’re pretty understanding about safety concerns, so you won’t lose your money if it’s unsafe to go out.

Looking to rent a pontoon for my boyfriend's birthday!

I'm thinking about gifting the 6-hour private pontoon boat rental on Hilton Head Island for my boyfriend's birthday. I've heard amazing things like getting to see dolphins and cruising to the sandbar. Just wondering if it’s a fun experience for someone who’s not super into boating? Also, do you think I should invite a bunch of friends or keep it just us two?

First time renting a pontoon, any tips?

I’m thinking about surprising my family with this pontoon boat rental next month! We’ve never rented a boat before, so I’m a little anxious about it. What should I expect during the orientation? And any tips on where to find the best spot for lunch on the water?
