Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for this charter, but younger kids should definitely have some adult supervision. It’s a fantastic experience for kids as they can learn about fishing and the Gulf's wildlife. Just keep in mind that it might be a long day for really young ones, so bring some snacks and activities to keep them entertained.
A: Definitely go for comfortable clothing, but I’d recommend avoiding flip flops. The deck can get slippery, and you wouldn't want to risk a fall. Closed-toe shoes with good traction are best. Also, consider bringing a light jacket since it can get a bit breezy out on the water!
A: If the weather is bad, they’ll usually reschedule you for another day, no extra charges. Safety is a big priority for them. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your trip, and they’ll reach out if anything changes.

Just got back from the private fishing charter in Orange Beach!
Hey everyone! I just came back from a 6-hour private fishing charter with Blue Water Charters in Orange Beach and it was amazing! We caught a ton of Red Snapper and the captain was super cool, very knowledgeable about the Gulf’s fish. They provided everything we needed—rods, bait, refreshments, even cleaned our fish for us. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun day on the water with friends or family!
Looking for a unique gift idea—how about the fishing charter?
I’m thinking of gifting the 6-hour fishing charter to my dad for his birthday. He loves fishing but has never been deep-sea fishing. Do you think it’s suitable for beginners? Also, do they make it fun for kids? I want to make sure he and my little brother would enjoy it.
