Q&A
A: This tour is primarily designed for adults since it revolves around wine tasting. Kids are technically allowed, but keep in mind that you might have to find child-friendly activities for them. Most wineries won’t have activities geared towards kids, so it’s best suited for those 21 and older. If you have a special situation, you can always reach out to the provider to discuss options!
A: Tasting fees can vary significantly depending on the winery. Generally, expect to pay around $15 to $40 per person at most places. Some premium wineries may charge more, especially for special tastings. I suggest budgeting about $50-100 per person for tastings and maybe another $20-30 for lunch. Just be aware it's not included in the tour price!
A: The vibe is pretty laid-back, but you can definitely dress it up if you're celebrating something special! I wore a nice sundress, and my partner went with a collared shirt and shorts. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes since you might be walking around the vineyards. And don’t forget sunscreen!

Thinking about gifting the Santa Barbara Wine Tour - any tips?
Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the 6 Hour Private Santa Barbara Wine Tour for my friend's birthday. She loves wine but has never been to Santa Ynez Valley. I’d love some advice on how to make the day extra special and if there are any particular wineries we should prioritize. Should I suggest bringing a picnic lunch or just get something from a winery? Thanks!
Just did the wine tour - what a blast!
I just got back from the Santa Barbara Wine Tour, and wow, what a day! We started at a tiny vineyard called Fess Parker, and the tasting was to die for. Plus, we had a super nice driver who took us to a couple of other spots in the Santa Ynez Valley. Definitely recommend grabbing lunch at the Los Olivos Café. Can’t wait to go back!
