Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this fly fishing experience in Eagle River?

A: There's actually no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 10 years old for safety and enjoyment. Keep in mind that younger kids might need more attention from the guides. If you have a child under that age, you could call the outfitter to see if they can accommodate.

Q: What should I wear for the fly fishing trip? Is it chilly in the morning?

A: Layering is key! It can be chilly in the morning, especially in Vail, so wear a moisture-wicking shirt and bring a light jacket. The outfitter provides boots and waders, so just wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting wet. Don’t forget sunglasses and a hat!

Q: Can this trip be rescheduled if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! If the weather isn’t great, they’ll give you the option to reschedule. Just make sure to reach out to the outfitter as soon as you know. They’re pretty flexible and want you to have a great experience.

Thinking of gifting the fly fishing experience in Eagle River!

Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the 6-hour fly fishing trip in Eagle River to my dad for his birthday. He loves being outdoors and has always talked about wanting to try fly fishing. The scenery looks amazing and I love that they provide everything like rods and boots. Has anyone done this? How was it? Any tips for making the experience special?

Just went on the fly fishing trip. Here’s my review!

Wow, I just got back from the fly fishing trip in Eagle River and it was awesome! The guides were super friendly and really helped me catch my first fish. The water was so clear and you could see the fish swimming around. It was a perfect day, weather was great. Highly recommend it! Just make sure to bring some snacks for the break!
