Q&A

Q: Is the Statue of Liberty Tour suitable for kids? What age is best?

A: Absolutely! The Statue of Liberty Sightseeing Tour is great for kids of all ages. They’ll love seeing the Statue up close and the views of the skyline are super fun to take pictures of. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need some help with the life jackets and safety instructions, but overall, it's a family-friendly experience!

Q: What should I wear for the cruise? Is it cold on the water?

A: Dress in layers! It can be warm in the city, but out on the water, it can get pretty breezy. I’d suggest a light jacket or a hoodie, and comfortable shoes since you might want to move around the deck for the best views. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen too!

Q: How do I get to Pier 36? Is parking available?

A: Getting to Pier 36 is pretty straightforward! You can take the subway to the East River Park stop, which is a short walk from the pier. If you’re driving, there are parking garages nearby, but they can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. I’d recommend arriving a bit early to avoid any stress!

Thinking of gifting the Statue of Liberty Cruise for my parents' anniversary!

Hey everyone! I’m considering giving my folks the 60-Minute Statue of Liberty Sightseeing Cruise for their upcoming anniversary. They love history and the city. Has anyone done this tour? What did you think? I know they’ll enjoy the views, but I’m curious about the cruise experience itself. Also, any tips for taking good photos from the boat?

Just got back from the Statue of Liberty Cruise - WOW!

I recently took the 60-Minute Statue of Liberty Sightseeing Cruise and it was incredible! The views of the skyline and the close-up of the Statue were absolutely breathtaking. The guide was super informative too. Just a heads up, if you’re prone to seasickness, try to sit closer to the middle of the boat. Overall, highly recommend it!
