Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend this for kids 8 and up. The tour involves quite a bit of walking and some complex historical information, which younger kids might find boring. Just keep in mind to check with the tour provider if you’re bringing really little ones.

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it outdoor-friendly?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! This tour involves some walking on rocky terrain, so hiking boots or sturdy sneakers are a must. Also, bring layers since it can get chilly in the morning and warmer in the afternoon.

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If weather conditions are unsafe, the tour can be rescheduled. Just contact the provider as soon as possible—they're usually pretty flexible. I had to reschedule mine due to rain, and it was seamless!

Just did the Mesa Verde Half Day Tour—amazing!

I just got back from the 700 Year Tour and wow, it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable and you could tell he loved the history. We saw some stunning cliff dwellings and learned so much about the Ancestral Puebloans. I really recommend this if you're near Durango—it’s such a unique experience!

Thinking of gifting the Mesa Verde Tour—any thoughts?

I’m considering giving the 700 Year Tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love history and nature, but I’m concerned if it’s too strenuous for them. Has anyone done it? What’s the difficulty level like?
