Q&A
A: The weight requirement for the Segway tour is between 100 lbs and 300 lbs. They want to ensure everyone's safety and the Segways operate best within this range. So, if you're planning to book this for someone, just make sure they meet that requirement!
A: If there’s light rain, they usually still go ahead with the tour, but if the weather is severe, they might cancel. In that case, they’ll let you know and you can typically reschedule for another day that works for you. Just keep an eye on the weather leading up to your tour!
A: The Segway tour is suitable for people ages 12 and up. Kids younger than 12 can’t ride due to safety regulations, but teens love it! Just make sure they weigh at least 100 lbs. It’s a super fun way to explore Charlotte together!

Just did the Segway tour in Uptown Charlotte – what an experience!
I took the 90-minute Segway tour last weekend and it was incredible! The guide knew so much about Charlotte's history and the architecture was stunning. They really do a great job with the training, so if you've never been on a Segway before, don't worry. The best part was zooming through the parks and seeing everything up close. I can't recommend it enough as a gift for anyone visiting the city!
Thinking about gifting the Segway tour but unsure
I'm considering this Segway tour in Uptown Charlotte as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. He's never been on a Segway and I’m not sure if he’d feel comfortable. Is it really easy to learn? And how’s the parking situation if we drive? Any thoughts?
