As the only chef curated and led culinary tour in New Orleans, Chef James shares the unique culture of the city through its amazing cuisine. Discover the hidden gems of the city that most tourists are unaware of and meet the people that create the culture and cuisine of the Crescent City. Customize your tour to meet a Black Masking Indian and learn more about how their culture is intertwined with the indigenous people of Louisiana. Chat with a VooDoo priestess and gain a better understanding of how the West African spiritual traditions blend with Catholicism and indigenous practices. We limit the amount of people in each tour group, insuring a personalized, quality experience and interaction.

Q: Can you customize the tour for dietary restrictions?

A: Yes! Chef James is super accommodating and will work with you to customize the tasting menu based on any dietary restrictions. Just let them know ahead of time when you book. I have a gluten allergy, and they were great about it on my tour!

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s more geared towards adults due to the content and some of the venues. Kids are welcome, but I’d say probably 12 and up would enjoy it more. Just make sure they can handle the walking and tasting!

Q: What if it rains on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather looks bad, they usually reach out to reschedule or move to indoor stops. Most of the locations are pretty flexible, but it’s good to be prepared. Bring an umbrella just in case!

OMG, I just got back from this awesome culinary tour in New Orleans, and it was a blast! Chef James is super knowledgeable and fun. We hit up six amazing spots, and the food was out of this world. Plus, meeting the Black Masking Indian was a highlight! Highly recommended for anyone who loves food and culture!
