Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend that kids be at least 12 years old and able to ride a bike comfortably for the duration of the tour. Some kids younger than 12 might be alright if they're experienced riders, but check with them first! You can always call Brooklyn Giro beforehand to confirm.
A: Honestly, late spring to early fall is best—like May to September. The weather's usually great, plus you get to enjoy all the outdoor scenery and street festivals. Just keep an eye on the forecast, as Brooklyn can get steamy in July and August. If it rains, they’ll let you reschedule!
A: Casual athletic wear is perfect! You want to be comfortable since you’ll be riding for a while. A good pair of shorts or breathable leggings and a t-shirt or a light long-sleeve are great. Don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a light jacket if it’s cooler. Oh, and wear sneakers or cycling shoes!

Thinking of gifting the Brooklyn Bike Tour and need some advice!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Brooklyn Bike Tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves cycling and exploring new places. I read that it covers over 25 neighborhoods, which sounds awesome! Just wondering if anyone has done this and if the lunch stops are good? Also, what’s the chance of rain ruining the day in late September?
Just finished the Brooklyn Bike Tour - what an experience!
Wow, I just got back from the Brooklyn Bike Tour and it was incredible! We rode through so many neighborhoods, and the guide had so much knowledge about the history of each area. The tastings at the distillery were a nice bonus, even though they weren’t included. Highly recommend it, but be ready for some hills!
