Q&A
A: Nope, there aren't any specific age restrictions for the walking tour. It's pretty family-friendly, so kids are welcome! Just keep in mind that some of the film content might be better suited for older children or teens who can appreciate the history. Plus, the popcorn and water are a hit with everyone!
A: Typically, the tour continues unless the weather's really bad. If there's a significant weather advisory, they might reschedule. I'd recommend checking back with the provider the day before, just to be sure. Bring an umbrella or a rain jacket just in case!
A: Parking can be tricky, especially in peak tourist season. There’s metered street parking around the area but it fills up fast. I'd suggest arriving a bit early to find a spot. If you can't find a meter, there are also some lots a few blocks away that aren't too expensive.

Thinking about the Film History of Savannah Walking Tour - worth it?
I’m considering this tour as a gift for my film-obsessed friend! I love how it starts at Leopold's Ice Cream – I hear the ice cream is amazing! How long does the tour typically last? Also, is it mostly walking or are there sit-down parts? Thanks!
Just did the Film History tour, and it was awesome!
I went on the Film History of Savannah tour last weekend, and it was a blast! The guide was super knowledgeable and the stories behind 'Forrest Gump' and 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' were so cool. Plus, the popcorn was a nice touch. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves movies or history!
