Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this scavenger hunt in Charleston?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the scavenger hunt, but it's generally best suited for ages 12 and up. Younger kids may find it challenging to participate fully or might get bored. I've seen families bring teens and even younger kids with them, but just keep in mind the pace and some problem-solving skills are involved!

Q: What should we wear for the Charleston scavenger hunt? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Comfort is key! Wear comfy shoes since there’s a fair bit of walking involved, especially around spots like Waterfront Park and Rainbow Row. I'd suggest light layers since Charleston can be hot. Also, sunscreen and a hat are good ideas if it's sunny!

Q: What if it rains during our scavenger hunt? Are there weather cancellations?

A: If the weather's bad, they'll reschedule you for another day. Make sure to check their policy on cancellations just in case. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on the forecast close to your date and reach out to the provider if you're worried about rain!

Thinking about gifting the Charleston scavenger hunt! Any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I’m considering this scavenger hunt for my brother's birthday since he loves exploring new places. I saw it includes spots like City Market and Rainbow Row, which are iconic! I’ve never done a scavenger hunt before, so I’m curious whether it's good for a group or if it's more of a couple's activity. What do you all think?

Just did the Charleston scavenger hunt - here’s my experience!

I just got back from the Charleston scavenger hunt and wow, it was awesome! We hit all the major spots like Waterfront Park and City Market. The clues were creative, and the photos we got afterwards were a nice touch. It was really easy to follow, but definitely kept us on our toes. Highly recommend for a fun day out!
