Central Park is one of the most famous urban parks in the world. Our tour will show you not just the highlights, but also explain some of the hidden wonders of the park. You will learn about the neurotic bear that every New Yorker could identify with, and the owl that stole our hearts and then broke them. Visit a wildlife sanctuary ranked as one the best bird watching places in North America. Visit John and Yoko™s favorite part of the park. You™ll see the famous Bow Bridge, visited by those in the know for that very special fun or romantic occasion. More than 500 movies have been filmed in the park, making it the most filmed location in the world: Madagascar we got that, Avengers and Alpha™s snowball fight too. The Friends fountain, fuggedaboutit’ despite what you may hear, it was filmed in LA and inspired by the fountain in Washington Square! If you™re going to go, go with those who know."

Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! If the weather looks questionable, just reach out to Best Tours New York, and they'll help you find another date that works. They’re usually pretty flexible about that. Just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as possible!

Q: What should I wear if we go on this tour?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot! Dress in layers too; mornings can be chilly but it warms up as the day goes on. If it's sunny, don't forget sunscreen and maybe a hat as well. You wanna enjoy the beauty without getting burned!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? Are there age limits?

A: Absolutely! The tour is family-friendly, so kids can join in on the fun. I took my 10-year-old nephew, and he loved it, especially the stories about the park's history. Just keep an eye on younger kids, as some areas can be crowded. No age limits that I know of!

Just did the walking tour in Central Park—what a blast!

I took the Scenic Walking Tour in Central Park last weekend, and I can't recommend it enough! Our guide was super knowledgeable about not just the highlights but also the quirky history behind the park. We saw Bow Bridge and even got to learn about the owl that stole hearts! There were plenty of photo ops. It was a bit crowded, but that’s expected on a Saturday. Totally worth it!

Thinking of gifting this tour! Any advice?

I’m thinking about getting the Scenic Walking Tour as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature and history. The price is perfect (free = yes please), but I’m wondering how long the tour usually lasts and if it gets too busy. Anyone done it recently?
