Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Walk Through Time Tour?

A: There aren't any strict age restrictions for the tour. It's family-friendly, so kids are welcome! However, keep in mind that it does involve a fair bit of walking, so younger children might need some extra attention. If you're bringing kids, just make sure they can handle the pace of the tour, which lasts about two and a quarter hours.

Q: What should I wear for the Walk Through Time Tour? Is it casual?

A: Definitely go for casual and comfortable! You'll be walking around for over two hours, so wear shoes that won't hurt your feet. I recommend layers too, because the weather in Portland can be unpredictable. A light jacket is handy if it gets chilly by the waterfront.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather’s bad on the day of the Walk Through Time Tour?

A: Yes, you can absolutely reschedule if the weather looks terrible. Maine Day Ventures takes safety seriously, so if it's pouring or too windy, they'll give you options to pick another day. Just make sure to give them a call or message ahead of time to discuss it!
