Join us on a leisurely ride around Acadia's Carriage roads. To begin you will arrive at our Bar Harbor location, which is only 1.2 miles from acadia! Once outfitted with safety and comfort gear we will lead you to Acadia and spend roughly three hours stopping at scenic overlooks, cascading streams, and ponds where beaver can be seen adding new trees to their lodge. Your guide will share natural history facts and offer advice to enhance your vacation experience. The tour returns to our shop, where you will be shown your trips route and a quick recap of sights and wildlife seen.

Q: What age is this tour suitable for? Can kids join?

A: The Acadia Fat Tire Ebike Tours is great for ages 12 and up. Kids under 12 can join if they’re comfortable riding a bike and meet height requirements for the e-bikes. Just check with the provider beforehand to make sure they have the right size bike available!

Q: What should I wear for the e-bike tour? Any special gear required?

A: You should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes since you’ll be on a bike. Layers are a good idea too, as it can get cool on the carriage roads. Helmets are provided, so you don't need to worry about that!

I just got back from the Acadia Fat Tire Ebike Tour and seriously, it was amazing! The rides along the carriage roads were stunning, and our guide was super friendly and shared great insights about the park. We even spotted some beavers working on their dam!
