Q&A
A: There's no specific age requirement for the Acadia Winter Wonderland tour, but it's recommended for ages 8 and up since kids need to sit still during the drive. Joe, the guide, is great with kids, and he often makes it fun with stories about the park. Just make sure they dress warmly!
A: You’ll want to wear layers! It can get pretty chilly, especially with the wind along the coast. A good winter coat, warm hat, gloves, and waterproof boots are a must. The tour provides hot drinks, which is a nice touch, but being warm is key!
A: Joe is super flexible—if the weather's unsafe, he’ll work with you to reschedule to a better day. Acadia can be unpredictable in winter, but he knows the area well and can adjust if needed. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Thinking about booking the winter tour in Acadia—any reviews?
I’m looking to surprise my partner with the Acadia National Park Winter Wonderland Private Driving Tour for their birthday! I’ve read it’s a peaceful experience and it includes hot cocoa, which sounds cozy. Can anyone share their thoughts or experiences? Is it worth it? How did you find Joe as a guide?
Just did the Acadia Winter Tour, and WOW!
I just got back from the Acadia National Park Winter Wonderland tour with Joe and it was incredible! The snowy landscapes were out of this world, and the hot cider was perfect for the cold weather. Joe's stories about the park made it even more interesting. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature!
