Q&A

Q: What's the best way to transport the snowboard if I’m coming from out of town?

A: If you're flying, most airlines let you check a snowboard bag for a fee, usually around $30-$50. Alternatively, you could rent a car with a roof rack for the snowboard. If you're taking public transport, you might want to take a bag that you can carry easily. Just check with your hotel about holding your gear if it’s a late flight back!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for using this rental package?

A: The rental package is designed for adults, so you’ll need to be at least 18. However, if you’re gifting it to someone younger, they could still use it as long as they have an adult with them who can sign the rental agreement.

Q: What if the weather’s bad? Can you reschedule the rental?

A: Yes, if you call Ski 'N See, they’re usually pretty flexible. Just let them know the day before if you think the weather's going to be an issue, and they’ll help you reschedule. They want you to have a good experience!

Just got the snowboard rental package for Cottonwood Resorts!

I’m heading to Salt Lake City next month and just booked the adult snowboard rental package from Ski 'N See for 24 hours. Super excited! I’ve been snowboarding for a few years now, and Cottonwood has some awesome runs. Can anyone give me tips on where to eat around there? Also, is it easy to find parking?

Gifting the snowboard rental package - any thoughts?

I’m thinking about getting this snowboard rental package for my brother’s birthday. He’s been wanting to try snowboarding and I think Cottonwood would be a great place for him. Any advice on how beginner-friendly it is? Also, what should he wear?
