Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit for the Capoeira class at Ocean Life Studio, but it's generally geared towards adults. However, teens 16+ can usually join with parental consent. The instructors, Cobra D'Agua and Canela, are super welcoming, so I think anyone with a positive attitude can fit right in!
A: You should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement. Most people wear shorts and a t-shirt, but they also have Capoeira uniforms available if you want to get into the spirit of it! Just make sure you have some good shoes or even go barefoot, as many do.
A: Classes at Ocean Life Studio usually go on rain or shine, as they're held indoors. If there’s any severe weather and they need to cancel, they’ll notify you and you can reschedule for another day. So no worries there!

Just tried my first Capoeira class and wow!
So I finally got around to taking the Capoeira class at Ocean Life Studio in Miami after hearing so much about it. It was such a unique mix of dance, martial arts, and music! Professores Cobra D'Agua and Canela really know their stuff. I loved how they incorporated live music into the class. Anyone thinking of gifting this should go for it! It’s a blast!
Thinking about gifting a Capoeira class, any thoughts?
I'm looking into getting a Capoeira class for my partner's birthday. They’ve done some martial arts before but never Capoeira. I hear Miami’s Ocean Life Studio is the place to go! Is it really as fun as it sounds? Any tips for first-timers?
