Q&A
A: I'd say late fall to early spring is the best time! New Orleans weather can be unpredictable, but from October to March, you're less likely to run into heavy rains. Just keep in mind that it can get a bit chilly, so maybe layer up. Also, check the tour website for rain policies—sometimes they’ll reschedule if it’s a total washout.
A: Yes! This tour is adults-only, so it's perfect for your 20-year-old. Just remember that the tour does cover some mature themes related to voodoo and local history. But I think your kiddo will find it super interesting!
A: The walking tour usually lasts about 2 hours, depending on how many questions the group has. As for what to wear, comfy shoes are a must since you'll be walking, and dress for the weather. A hat and sunscreen are good ideas if it’s sunny, and a light jacket for cooler nights is smart too!

Thinking of gifting the Voodoo Walking Tour, anyone done it?
I’m looking to surprise my brother with something unique for his birthday and the Adults-Only Voodoo History Guided Walking Tour sounds so intriguing! I love the idea of exploring Congo Square and learning about Marie Laveau. Has anyone actually been on this tour? Is it worth it?
Just did the Voodoo Walking Tour! Here’s my take.
I went on the Adults-Only Voodoo History Guided Walking Tour last week and it was a blast! The history about voodoo in NOLA is so rich and the guide was hilarious. Seriously, we stopped at Marie Laveau's tomb and learned all about her life. If anyone's thinking about it as a gift, do it! Just be ready to walk a lot.
