We handle the transportation allowing you to relax and enjoy. Our Guides know the best spots and can take you to lesser-known attractions along the way. Our guides offer expert Knowledge and provide insights about local history, culture, and wildlife that you might miss on your own. Once we arrive, retired sled dogs greet you and dogs in their prime take you on Alaska’s winter trails, each having a special place on our team. After you’re outfitted for winter, we’ll share some tales from the trail around the campfire before we introduce you to the whole team, many have competed in the Iditarod multiple times. We invite you to be part of the adventure on one of our dog sled tours, beginning with giving the dogs love and attention before we head out on the trail. Once we’re on the trail, you can ride in a custom-made tour sled, or you can help your guide drive the sled!

Q&A

Q: What's the best age for kids to join this dog sledding experience?

A: Honestly, I think kids as young as 8 could really enjoy this! The guides are super accommodating and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Just keep in mind that it can get very cold, so dress them properly! I've seen younger kids go too, but they need to be able to sit still during the ride.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, they are very flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just give them a call, and they’ll help you find an alternative date. I had to change my date last winter and they made it super easy!

Q: What should we wear for the dog sledding trip?

A: They provide snow suits and boots, but I’d recommend layering underneath. A thermal base layer, warm gloves, and a good hat are key. I was freezing without a proper scarf, so don’t forget that! You’ll want to stay warm while you interact with the pups too!
