Q&A
A: Yes! For the zip line, participants typically need to be at least 10 years old and weigh at least 70 lbs but check for individual provider rules. The sky coaster has a minimum age of 12 and similar weight restrictions. Just make sure to check with Scout for any specific guidelines prior to your trip.
A: Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are a must! I’d recommend wearing layers since it can get chilly up in the gorge, especially in the morning. If you have a light jacket, bring it along. And don’t forget sunscreen—those views are worth it!
A: Scout provides private transportation in a luxury Suburban, so you don't have to worry about parking! It’s great because you can relax on the way to and from the gorge. Just be ready for a bit of a drive (about 2 hours 20 minutes from Denver).

Just got back from the Adventure Day at Royal Gorge - WOW!
I can't believe how amazing the Royal Gorge is! The gondola ride was so peaceful, and the views are absolutely stunning. Then we did the zip line, and I was literally screaming the whole time but it was worth it! The sky coaster was the highlight for me though—totally terrifying but exhilarating! Just a heads up, the drive from Denver is a bit long, about 2.5 hours, but the snacks they provided were a nice touch!
Thinking of gifting the Royal Gorge Adventure Day!
I'm considering this for my partner's birthday! They love outdoor activities and thrill rides. I was just curious if anyone has done this experience and how it went? I want to make sure it’s worth it!
