Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Aerial Adventure Ropes Course in Sitka?

A: Yes, participants generally need to be at least 8 years old to join the Aerial Adventure Ropes Course. Kids between 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Just make sure to check with Sheet'ká Treetop Adventures directly, as they sometimes have special family packages or events! It's really a great bonding experience for families.

Q: What do we wear for the Aerial Adventure Ropes Course? Is there any special clothing needed?

A: Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in easily. Closed-toe shoes are a must! You might also want to dress in layers since the weather can change quickly in Sitka – it can be chilly up in the trees. The guides will provide safety gear, but wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty can be helpful.

Q: What if it rains? Do they cancel the ropes course?

A: Typically, the ropes course runs rain or shine! However, if the weather is extreme – like heavy winds or lightning – they might have to cancel. It's a good idea to check in with the company before your reservation to see how they've handled weather issues in the past. Just remember, a little rain can make it more fun!

Thinking of gifting the Aerial Adventure Course - any thoughts?

I’m thinking of giving this ropes course experience in Sitka to my brother for his birthday! He loves adventure and I feel like this would be perfect since he's always up for a challenge. I love that it's not just about ziplines – he can actually get involved in the course. Has anyone done this? What should I know before I buy?

Just went to the Sitka Aerial Adventure Course - What a blast!

I just finished the ropes course and wow, it was such a great experience! The guides really know their stuff and made us feel safe while having fun. Plus, learning about Sitka's history while climbing was such a nice touch! I can’t believe how much my balance improved too, haha. If you're considering it, definitely do it!
