Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Aerial Tram and Wildlife Center tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but younger kids might need a little guidance on the tram. They usually recommend ages 5 and up for the best experience! Just be aware that some wildlife may be more interesting for older kids and adults, but it’s definitely a family-friendly outing.

Q: What should we wear for the tram ride and wildlife center?

A: Dress in layers! It can be chilly at the top of Mount Alyeska, even in summer. I’d recommend a warm jacket, sturdy shoes for the wildlife center walking paths, and don’t forget sunglasses—those views are bright!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule for a later date if weather conditions aren’t safe. Frontier Alaska is pretty accommodating with that, but just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as you know! They want everyone to have a great experience.

Just booked the Aerial Tram and Wildlife Center tour! Anyone done this?

I just bought the Aerial Tram and Wildlife Center tour from Anchorage as a gift for my sister’s birthday. I’m so excited! The tram ride up Mount Alyeska sounds amazing, and I can’t wait to see the wildlife at the center. The views from 2300 feet up must be really something. Just hoping the weather cooperates! Has anyone done this recently?

Thinking about giving the Aerial Tram tour as a gift! Thoughts?

I’m considering the Aerial Tram and Wildlife Center tour for my friend who loves nature. I think it’d be a perfect gift since she’s always talking about visiting Alaska. But I’m a bit skeptical about the price—what’s the catch? Anyone know if it’s worth it?
