Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the snorkeling part? Any specific recommendations?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit that's comfy and maybe a light cover-up for sailing. Water shoes would help if you want to walk over any rocks when snorkeling. And don’t forget reef-safe sunscreen to protect the ocean life!

Q: Is it okay to take kids on this trip? What’s the age limit?

A: Kids are totally welcome! There's no specific age limit, but they should be comfortable in the water. It's a good idea to check with the provider, Sea Paradise, for any tips on ensuring a safe and fun experience for your little ones.

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can absolutely reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Sea Paradise is super flexible with that! Just give them a call ahead of time, and they'll find a new date that works for you.

Considering the Afternoon Sail & Snorkel Experience—thoughts?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of gifting the Afternoon Sail & Snorkel to the Captain Cook Monument for my sister's birthday. It sounds amazing with the turquoise waters and snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay. Has anyone done this? Any tips on what to expect? Would love to hear about your experiences!

Just did the Afternoon Sail & Snorkel—here's my review!

OMG, I just came back from the Afternoon Sail & Snorkel, and it was beyond amazing! The crew from Sea Paradise was super friendly, and snorkeling with the dolphins at the Captain Cook Monument was the highlight. The snacks were great too, especially the tropical fruit. Totally recommend it as a gift!
