Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the tours, but they are generally more suitable for kids ages 8 and up. The rocky beach and the small hill at the last stop might be challenging for younger children. Just make sure they can walk well on uneven surfaces. Safety is a priority, especially near wildlife!
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking on rocky surfaces, especially at Rotary Beach. I recommend bringing layers because it can get chilly near the water, even in summer. If there's rain in the forecast, the provided ponchos are super handy! Just be ready for some adventure!
A: If the weather is bad, the guides will usually reach out to you to discuss the options. They try to be flexible, and if you can’t make it, they’ll help you reschedule for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast and plan accordingly!

Just did the Alaska Wildlife Waterfall Tour and it was AMAZING!
I went on this tour last week and wow, the views at Herring Cove were stunning! We saw a black bear from the van, which was such a thrill. The snacks were a nice touch too, perfect for snacking while enjoying the scenery. I recommend wearing sturdy shoes for Rotary Beach. Totally worth it if you’re in Ketchikan!

I'm thinking of gifting the Alaska Wildlife Waterfall Tour for my sister's birthday. She loves nature and wildlife! Has anyone done it recently? I want to make sure it’s a good experience. Also, any tips on the best time to go?
