Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to do the Alaskan Lodge Adventure and Seafeast?

A: The best time to go is between May and September when the weather is milder and you have a higher chance to see all the wildlife! Whales are really active during these months, and the forest is in full bloom. I went in late August, and it was just stunning—perfect for the seafood feast afterward too!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Alaskan Lodge Adventure?

A: No specific age restrictions! Kids and adults alike can enjoy it. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need supervision, especially on the boat. It's a family-friendly experience, so it’s great for all ages—just check with the provider if you have little ones so you can plan accordingly.

Q: What do you wear for the Alaskan Lodge Adventure and Seafeast?

A: Definitely layer up! Even in summer, it can get chilly on the water. I'd suggest wearing a waterproof jacket, layered clothes, and comfortable shoes for walking in the Tongass Forest. Also, don't forget a hat and sunscreen—you're out in the sun for a while!

Thinking of giving the Alaskan Lodge Adventure and Seafeast as a gift!

I’m looking to buy this experience for my parents' anniversary. They love seafood and nature, so this seems perfect! I’m curious if anyone has done this and what the best time to book is? Also, how was the food?! I want to ensure it’s a hit. Thanks!

Alaskan Lodge Adventure - Is it worth it?

I'm considering this for our next family trip to Ketchikan. Everyone talks about the seafood boil, but is the boat ride and forest walk just as good? What should I expect? Any tips?
