Q&A
A: Rainbow Ryders allows kids as young as 5 to join the ride, which is great for family outings! Just keep in mind that any child under 12 needs to be accompanied by an adult. The ride can be a bit bumpy, so make sure they’re comfortable with heights!
A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, Rainbow Ryders is pretty flexible. They’ll reach out the day before to confirm, and if it’s canceled, you can easily reschedule. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy too!
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, especially before sunrise, but it warms up once you're up in the air. Sneakers or closed-toe shoes are a must since you'll be climbing in and out of the basket. Bring a light jacket just in case!

Thinking about gifting a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting a hot air balloon ride for my partner's birthday. I’ve heard the views are stunning, especially at sunrise over the Sandia Mountains. Any tips on what to expect? Also, how's the experience with Rainbow Ryders? Would love to hear about your experiences!
Just did the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Ride!
OMG, this was one of the best experiences ever! The views during sunrise were absolutely mind-blowing. The pilot was super knowledgeable and made it even more fun. Plus, the champagne toast after was such a nice touch! I highly recommend it if you’re thinking about it as a gift.
