Q&A
A: Kids as young as 8 can join the snowshoe experience! They just need to be able to keep up with the group and be comfortable in the snow. The guides are super friendly and accommodate families, so it's a great way to get the kids outdoors in winter. Just make sure they dress warmly!
A: Layering is key! Make sure to wear moisture-wicking base layers, a warm insulating layer, and a waterproof outer layer. Don't forget good winter boots, gloves, and a hat! The guides also recommend gaiters to keep snow out of your shoes, which I found super helpful.
A: If the weather isn't safe, the experience will be rescheduled to a later date. You'll get a notification if it happens, and they’re pretty good about working with you to find a new time that fits. Just make sure to check your email before heading out!

Thinking about gifting the Albuquerque Snowshoe Experience!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Albuquerque Snowshoe Experience for my partner's birthday. The idea of hot cocoa breaks and stunning views from the Sandia Peak Tramway sounds amazing! Has anyone done it yet? How was the snowshoeing? Also, did you find it difficult? Any tips would help!
Anyone else love the hot cocoa during the snowshoe tour?
Just got back from the snowshoe experience at Sandia Peak and had to share! The hot cocoa pit stop was so cozy – sipping warm cocoa surrounded by snow was perfect. Plus, the guides gave us some cool facts about the local wildlife. Can’t recommend this enough!
