Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather's really bad, the tour might get rescheduled or canceled. Alcatraz tours are still generally on unless it's dangerous weather. Just contact Tour Limo LLC directly if you're concerned. They can help you with rescheduling if needed.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids need to be able to walk and pay attention for about 3.5 hours. It's a lot of information! They might enjoy it more if they're 8 or older, but younger kids are fine as long as they're interested. The tour guide is great with families.

Q: Can you recommend what to wear during this tour?

A: Wear comfy shoes – you’ll be walking a lot! Layers are key in San Francisco because it can get chilly near the bay, especially on the boat to Alcatraz. A light jacket and a hat are great to have. Also, don’t forget sunscreen—even if it’s foggy, UV can still get you.

Thinking about gifting the Alcatraz Plus San Francisco City Combo Tour!

I want to surprise my partner with this combo tour for their birthday! I've heard the city tour is pretty extensive and stops at all the iconic spots like the Painted Ladies and Golden Gate Bridge. Plus, Alcatraz sounds amazing! Can anyone share their experience? How early should we arrive? Any tips?

Just did the Alcatraz and city tour—so cool!

I went on the Alcatraz Plus San Francisco City Combo Tour last week and had a blast! The city tour gave such a good mix of culture and history, and Alcatraz was hauntingly beautiful. Just remember, the ferry ride can be chilly! Bring a jacket!
