Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit for the bike tour, but kids need to be at least 12 years old to ride an e-bike on their own. Younger kids can ride along in a bike trailer if they’re under 12. Just make sure they’re comfortable on a bike!
A: Yes! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can reach out to Bay City Bike Rentals & Tours, and they’ll help you reschedule. Just make sure to give them a heads up as early as possible!
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes! Layers are a must since the weather can change quickly in San Francisco. And don’t forget sunscreen, even if it’s cloudy. You’ll be riding for a while, so being comfortable is key!

Thinking about gifting the Alcatraz & E-Bike combo!
I'm considering this experience for my brother's birthday. He loves biking and has always wanted to see Alcatraz. I think it's a perfect mix! I'm a little worried about how difficult the biking part is, though. Is it suitable for casual riders? Also, how long is the entire tour?
Just did the Alcatraz E-Bike tour—amazing experience!
I went on this tour last weekend and it was totally worth it! The audio tour at Alcatraz was super informative and the bike ride along the waterfront was beautiful. We stopped at Fisherman’s Wharf for lunch, and the views of the bay were stunning. Highly recommend bringing a camera!
