Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? My son is 8 and I want to make sure it's suitable.

A: No age limit! Kids love exploring Muir Woods and Alcatraz. Just keep an eye on them around the cliff areas at the park. The audio tour on Alcatraz should keep your son entertained, too. Make sure he’s up for some walking – it's pretty spread out!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it casual or more dressy?

A: Casual is totally fine! I wore comfy shoes and layers because it can get chilly at Muir Woods and on the ferry. Don’t forget a jacket! You'll want to be comfortable walking through the park and exploring Sausalito, too.

Q: Can we change the tour date if necessary? What’s the rescheduling policy?

A: You can reschedule, but try to give them at least 48 hours notice. They’re pretty flexible, especially if it’s a weather issue. Just call ahead and they’ll help you find another date that works!

Alcatraz & Muir Woods – A Must-Do in San Francisco!

Just got back from the Alcatraz with Muir Woods tour, and I can’t recommend it enough! The drive across the Golden Gate was breathtaking. Muir Woods had those giant trees that felt like a different world, and Sausalito was adorable with all the little shops! The tour guide was super knowledgeable too. Definitely worth the money!
