Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to really enjoy the experience and be safe in the water. The guides are great with families and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Just make sure to bring some snacks for the little ones and be prepared for some excitement!
A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit since they provide wetsuits if it's chilly. The water temperature can be cool, especially in winter months, but the wetsuits help a lot! Also, bring some flip-flops for when you’re not in the water. It’s definitely a good idea to wear sunscreen and a hat if you’re going during the day!
A: Parking is included in the experience, which is super nice! They have a lot right at Pete’s Pier, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot. Just make sure to arrive a little early to grab your spot and check in. It gets busy on weekends, especially in peak season!

Best family activity ever! Manatee Swim in Crystal River!
OMG, we just did the all-inclusive small group manatee swim in Crystal River and it was AMAZING! The guides were super friendly and knew everything about manatees. We got to swim right next to them, and they even took awesome photos for us! It was a bit chilly, but the wetsuits helped a lot. Totally worth it for anyone with kids. We’ll be back for sure!
Thinking of gifting the manatee swim experience!
Hey guys, I’m considering getting the manatee swim for my sister’s family. They have two kids, ages 6 and 8. Has anyone done this? Is it super easy for kids? I'm worried about how they'll handle the water. Also, do they really take photos?
