Q&A
A: Great question! There isn't a strict age limit, but the captain usually recommends kids be at least 6 years old for safety and enjoyment reasons. Younger kids can join as long as they’re with an adult and can follow safety instructions. Make sure to bring some snacks and water for them, too!
A: I'd suggest wearing comfortable, breathable clothing since you'll be out in the sun! A hat and polarized sunglasses are a must to protect from the sun. Don't forget sunscreen too, and maybe some water shoes if you plan to get a little wet.
A: If the weather looks bad, the captain will usually contact you ahead of time to reschedule. Safety’s the priority, so they won’t take you out in unsafe conditions. I recommend checking the weather a few days before your trip, but don’t worry too much—they're pros at making the call!

Thinking of booking the Amelia Island Fishing Charter for my Dad's birthday! Any tips?
I’m planning to surprise my dad with the inshore fishing charter in Jacksonville for his birthday. He loves fishing but hasn’t been in a while. I heard they provide all the gear and even the fishing licenses, which is awesome. Just curious about what else to bring or if there are any must-dos while we're there!
Just got back from the Amelia Island Fishing Charter, and it was a blast!
I did the inshore fishing charter last weekend and wow, what a great time! Caught some amazing Redfish and the scenery was just beautiful. The captain was super chill and knew his stuff. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out on the water!
