Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? Thinking about gifting it to my family.

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to hike the 1.5 miles to Horseshoe Bend. It’s great for families, just make sure they’re up for some walking. Also, younger kids may need a little extra supervision in the canyon, since it can get narrow in spots. Overall, it’s a totally memorable experience for all ages!

Q: What do we need to wear for the canyon? Is it going to be super hot?

A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes since the trail can be sandy and a bit uneven. Layers are a good idea too because it can be cooler in the canyon! Generally, it's warm, but the temperature can drop when you're shaded inside the canyon. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule? I’d hate to waste a gift!

A: If there’s severe weather, they’ll typically offer a chance to reschedule. It’s best to check their policy closer to your date though. They want everyone to have an amazing experience, so they’re pretty flexible about it. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches!

Thinking of gifting the Antelope Canyon tour! Anyone done it?

I’m looking at the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend tour as a gift for my partner’s birthday. The whole picnic lunch part sounds amazing, especially from Pink Java Café! How was the food? I’ve heard the views are insane. Just a little worried about the hiking part since my partner isn’t super active. Anyone have tips?

Just did the Antelope Canyon tour—WOW!

Seriously, this tour blew my mind. Antelope Canyon is stunning! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. Horseshoe Bend was a great finale to the day. If you're thinking about it as a gift, just do it! The lunch from Pink Java Café was a nice touch too. Worth every penny!
