Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I’d say younger kids (under 10) might struggle with the hiking parts since the terrain is uneven. The guides are pretty good with families, though. I took my 12-year-old, and he loved it! Just make sure they're up for some walking.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just let Great West Tours know at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty accommodating, but it’s best to give them as much notice as possible. I had to change my date once, and it was super easy.

Q: What should I wear for the canyon hike?

A: Definitely wear hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers! The terrain can get rocky and sandy. And don’t forget to layer up – it can be chilly in the morning but warm up later. I’d also recommend a hat and sunscreen since there’s not much shade.

Just did the Antelope Canyon tour! Wow!

I went on the Antelope Canyon via Canyon X tour last week and it was AMAZING! The colors in the canyon are unreal. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made everything fun. We also stopped at Horseshoe Bend, which was just as breathtaking. Just a heads up, the hiking isn’t too tough, but definitely wear good shoes! Can’t recommend this enough for a unique experience.

Thinking about gifting this tour!

I’m considering getting the Antelope Canyon tour for my partner’s birthday. We love the outdoors and I’ve heard such great things. Is it really as good as people say? Also, is the lunch break enough to grab something decent nearby?
