Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Antelope Canyon tour?

A: Yes, Arizona law requires all kids 8 and younger to be in a car seat or booster seat. It’s best to check with Great West Tours directly if you have younger kids, as they might have specific requirements. Just make sure to bring a seat if you’re traveling with little ones!

Q: What's the best time of year to visit Antelope Canyon?

A: The best time is generally between March and October when the light beams are at their brightest! Keep in mind, summer can get super hot, so an early morning tour might be the way to go. Also, fall has beautiful colors and less crowding.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it a tough hike?

A: Wear comfortable shoes like hiking boots or sturdy sneakers since there’s some hiking involved. Layered clothing is great too, as it can be cooler in the morning and warm up later. The hike isn’t super tough, but it can be uneven in places!

Just got back from the Antelope Canyon tour - wow!

I just did the Antelope Canyon via Canyon X and Horseshoe Bend tour from Sedona, and it was absolutely breathtaking! The colors in the canyon were unreal, especially when the sun hit. We had lunch at the Historic Cameron Trading Post and it was cool to browse around. The guides were super knowledgeable and friendly. Just a heads up, it does involve some hiking, but it's totally manageable. Highly recommend as a gift for any nature lover!

Considering gifting the Antelope Canyon tour!

I'm thinking about getting this Antelope Canyon tour for my brother's birthday. He's into photography and loves hiking. Does anyone know if they allow enough time to take good pics at Horseshoe Bend? I want to make sure it's worth it for him.
