Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Antelope Canyon X tour? I'm thinking of gifting this to my 12-year-old niece.

A: There's no strict age limit for the Antelope Canyon X tour, but kids should be capable of hiking the 1.5 miles to Horseshoe Bend. It’s suitable for adventurous kids, as long as they’re comfortable walking on uneven terrain. I'd say your niece will love it if she’s up for the challenge!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, Great West Tours will typically offer to reschedule your tour for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out to them if you're unsure. They’re pretty accommodating in my experience!

Q: What should we wear for the Antelope Canyon hike? Are there any restrictions?

A: Dress in layers! The canyon can be cool in the morning but warm up later. Sturdy hiking shoes are a must since the terrain can be rocky and sandy. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. No special restrictions, just good common sense clothing!

Looking to gift the Antelope Canyon X tour - thoughts?

I’m considering gifting the Antelope Canyon X tour to my adventurous friend for her birthday. I love that there's a pickup at Walmart in Page, AZ. Sounds convenient! I'm just a bit worried about how strenuous the hike might be since she’s not super active. Has anyone done this and found it manageable?

Antelope Canyon X Experience - Worth it?

I just got back from the Antelope Canyon X tour, and OMG, it was amazing! The colors in the canyon are unreal. Plus, the hike to Horseshoe Bend was worth every step. Just a heads up, pack snacks for the lunch break since there’s no food included. I’m thinking about gifting this to my sister!
