Q&A
A: Definitely dress for the heat! Lightweight, breathable clothing is best since you’ll be out in the desert. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially for the cruise on Canyon Lake. Good shoes are a must if you’re planning to walk around Tortilla Flat. Also, layers can be nice because it might get a bit cooler on the water.
A: Yes! Across Arizona Tours allows you to reschedule your tour if you give them notice ahead of time. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy as it can vary. It's best to reach out to them directly for any specific requests or last-minute changes. They'll work with you!
A: The tour is pretty easygoing! It’s suitable for families and kids. The cruise is smooth and the walking part at Tortilla Flat isn't strenuous at all. Just keep an eye on younger kids during the walk to make sure they stay close. Definitely a great family outing!

Highly Recommend the Apache Trail and Dolly Steamboat Tour!
Just got back from the Apache Trail and Dolly Steamboat tour and wow, what an experience! The 90-minute cruise was awesome, saw eagles and even some longhorn sheep. Tortilla Flat is quirky and cute, just 6 residents! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the desert plants so interesting. Perfect day trip from Phoenix. Definitely worth it!
Thinking of gifting the Apache Trail Tour, any tips?
I’m considering giving the Apache Trail and Dolly Steamboat tour as a gift for my parents' anniversary. I think they’d love the scenery! Anything I should know before booking? Like how the pick-up works or if they need to bring anything special?
