Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to go for inshore fishing in Apalachicola?

A: The best time to fish in Apalachicola really depends on what you're after. Generally, spring and fall are fantastic for Redfish and Trout, while summer is great for Flounder and Sharks. The guide is super knowledgeable, so they can help you pick the right spots based on the season. Overall, you can enjoy fishing there year-round due to the variety of species available.

Q: Are there any age limits for kids if I want to take my son along?

A: Kids are totally welcome on the fishing charters! There's no strict age limit, but it’s best suited for kids who can follow instructions and stay safe on the boat. The guides are great with kids and can adjust the experience to make it fun and engaging for them. Just make sure they wear life jackets, which the charter provides.

Q: Is it easy to find parking near the marina? I'm worried about logistics!

A: Yeah, parking is pretty straightforward at the marina. There’s a large lot right next to the launch area, and it’s usually not super crowded. Just get there a bit early to snag a good spot if you're going during peak times, especially in the summer. Also, you can grab a quick drink at Oyster City Brewing after your trip!

Thinking about gifting the Apalachicola Inshore Fishing Charter!

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting this fishing charter experience for my dad's birthday. He's been wanting to try inshore fishing for ages. I know it includes everything like gear and licenses, but is there anything else I should know about? Also, how’s the fishing activity? Is it beginner-friendly? Thanks!

Just went on the Apalachicola Inshore Fishing Charter and it was epic!

I just got back from the charter and wow, what an experience! We caught some massive Redfish and even saw some dolphins! The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was a bit worried about the wind ruining our day, but the guide had us covered with great spots. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a fun fishing day in Florida!
