We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the scavenger hunt?

A: There's no strict age limit, but Alley Kat Adventures recommends kids around 10 and up will get the most out of the scavenger hunt! It’s designed for families and groups, so younger kids can join in if they have a parent with them. Just keep in mind that some of the clues might be better suited for older participants.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the scavenger hunt?

A: If the weather's terrible, you can reschedule for free! Just reach out to Alley Kat Adventures a day in advance if you can. They’re super flexible and want everyone to enjoy their experience. Plus, if you’re in DC, there are plenty of indoor spots you could explore if you decide to go ahead!

Q: How does the leaderboard system work? Can we see scores from other cities?

A: The leaderboard tracks your team's points during your scavenger hunt, and you can see how you rank against teams in other cities in real-time! It adds a fun competitive twist. Just log into the website after your hunt to see your score and how you did overall. It’s super motivating and makes for some hilarious moments!
