A: There’s really no strict age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome, but the experience is especially enjoyable for those 5 and up. Just make sure they’re able to follow along during the tour, and keep in mind that younger kids might need a little help staying engaged. Also, the guides are super friendly and can tailor the info to the age group present.

Q: What should I wear for the VIP experience? Is it cold inside?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly inside due to the tanks and water features. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea. Also, comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking around quite a bit during the tour.

A: Yes, you can reschedule if necessary! Just make sure to give them a call or email at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible and want to make sure you have a great experience, so don’t stress too much about it!

Just did the VIP tour at Aquarium of the Bay!

OMG! This experience was amazing! We got to see sharks up close and even watched the biologists set up tanks for the otters. The staff was super passionate and knowledgeable. If you’re in San Francisco, it’s a must-do, especially if you have kids! Worth every penny, and it was free with the VIP ticket!
